I purchased my first pair of Golden Goose sneakers a few months ago (which I originally featured in this post), and got tons of questions from you guys ever since. So many that I decided it was finally time to do a full write-up! I’ve also worn them enough now that I feel like I have a good grip on their quality, and a variety of other factors about them, which you’ll see broken down further.

Where did you end up buying them?
I found mine on sale via Cettire and snagged them that way!
I ordered them on April 28th and they were delivered by the 30th, so the shipping was really quick .
How much do they run?
When I bought my pair in spring, I paid around $385, but their regular price is over $500.
These sneakers typically cost anywhere between $410 and $1,700, depending on how embellished they are.
How does the sizing run?
They’re true to size in my experience, at least for me.
They haven’t stretched at all, so if you’re between sizes, I’d go up
How comfy are they?
They felt good right away. I recommend wearing no-shows, especially since they help with airflow. They’re made with real Italian leather, so it’s much more easy than breaking in fake leather. Also, they’re already broken-in so your feet just slide in.
How do they perform over time?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they still look great. Nothing has torn, and the structure feels strong. Because they already look worn, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
Do they feel better than other shoes?
Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose still come out on top. They include a built-in arch bump that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re handmade in small batches, so each pair is unique. And the glitter on mine? Next-level.
Are they worth it?
Yes! Though I suggest looking for a deal. They cost a lot, so getting them with a promo is smarter. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you find a style that suits you. I went bold with sparkle, but a low-key version would also look great.
